Good grief!! I feel as though I have not blogged in FOREVER! I'm so sorry I have been so busy and so unfaithful to my bloggers! :/ Between school, work and my fabulous trip to Lake Martin last weekend, I am just now updating the blog! Well speaking of playful summer memories it has been one sweet and memorable Summer which I am extra grateful for considering this is my "last summer to be a kid!!" (also a Facebook album) YIKES! However, I'm soaking up every minute of it! As I mentioned, this past weekend I was in Lake Martin for one of my friend's birthdays and we could not of had better weather or more fun, it was GREAT! Why is it that being in the sun for hours getting totally burnt to a crisp, swimming in a lake filled with creatures that can kill you (i.e. Alligators) and being pulled behind the boat on a tube where you're laughing so hard you can barely breathe is so gosh darn fun??!! That is just a few of things we did that occupied our time up down at the lake! I thought I would post a picture from the weekend, it's one of my favorites and you would never know that it's a picture of four college/grad students :) that's what I love about.......adults as playful as kids!! But now it's your turn!
What fun and exciting plans do you have for the rest of this Summer or what have you already done or experienced during this stifling Summertime heat? I'd love to hear stories and/or see pictures!! :)
Have a lovely rest of your Tuesday!

I get to go to the mountains with a dear friend!! :)
ReplyDeleteAmelia Kait??,
ReplyDeleteWe were at Lake Martin the same time you were there!!!! Lauren and Carly were with us also. Did you jump off Chimney Rock or eat at Sinclair's. We vacation there every summer with friends. Love your blog, although I am not sure how I stumbled across it? Just got back last night, from moving Lauren into her new townhouse in Tally, pre-rush prep starts today. My best to all the Masterson's , have a great year.
PS. Carly just got a real job in Orlando.
I still envision you and Carl eating the giant cheeseburgers at Jacks and laughing about it. Bigger than ya'lls head.
